In a move to give back to its members and to show support for those affected by Hurricane Harvey, The Professional Association RGV Chapter, volunteered two days of labor and $500 to Boys & Girls Clubs of Coastal Bends.

Over 40 volunteers and members of the TPA RGV chapter from 6 organizations in the Rio Grande Valley traveled 2.5 hours to help their Club family in need.  From washing walls, removing debris, too cutting fallen trees no tasks was too small of too big.

"I have worked with two national nonprofits and experienced natural disasters with both and we were basically on our own. The support that BGCA and TPA have shown is amazing.  I feel less alone and like a part of a family,” said Kim Barrientos, CEO for Boys & Girls Clubs of Coastal Bend.

"It is important that we harness our resources and energy to help serve members of our chapter.  Our brothers and sisters who represent the best of our professional values: hard working individuals making an impact on a child’s life," said Stephanie Leal, President of The Professional Association RGV Chapter.
